Teasy You simply cannot escape the droning hypnotical soundscapes of "The Empty Quarter". Head Cinema galore! Favorite track: The Empty Quarter.

Jonathan Ahkmed in "The Inland Sea" has demonstrated its mastery of doom seasoned darkly psychedelicized shoegaze. This mastery is obvious in "Pattern of Atolls," which begins with wah wah effects and spacey vocals, moves into dark shoegaze and then thundering doom chords come crashing down. "Last Hour of Light," my favorite song, has psychedelic drone, killer reverb and fantastic feedback effects. This is a great album by a great post-rock band at the very top of its game. Highly recommended. Favorite track: Last Hour of Light.
